Google Workspace; Features Summary
Google Workspace (formerly known as Google Apps and later G Suite) is a collection of cloud computing, productivity, collaboration tools, software and products developed and marketed by Google. It consists of Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, Meet and Chat for communication, collaboration, and employee engagement. It also has Google Drive for storage, real-time collaboration, and sharing of files. An Admin Panel is provided for managing users and services. The collaboration apps have been built from the beginning to allow multiple people to edit a document, spreadsheet, or presentation simultaneously. These services include: custom business email @yourcompany, twice the amount of cloud storage across Gmail and Drive, 24/7 phone and email support, 99.9% guaranteed uptime on business email, interoperability with Microsoft Outlook, additional security options like two-step authentication and SSO, and administrative controls for user accounts.
